Judges 16 tells the tragic turn of the history of Samson and Delilah. A famous story, but the lessons therein are often not learned. This sermon asks, what does a relationship do to us?
What should we be aware of about it when we are dating? And what is marriage? A universal social institution, present throughout recorded history. Why is there is no other custom as prevalent in the world as marriage? The evolutionary explanation for this fails, but the Bible’s answer goes deep, very deep. This message, in explicating it in Feb, 2013, roams over the territory of marriage foibles, divorce, disdain of relationship, vulnerabilities, the Trinity and, of course, dating.
