Gender Glorious

Gender expresses something fundamental within the Godhead, however differently it exists in the unapproachable light of an Infinite God. Our created image mirrors a loving fellowship between the First Member and the Second Member. This helps us to enjoy the glory of our unions, restored through Christ.

I begin to explore that truth here through Part 2 of this early exposition (03/13/2005) of 1Corinthians 11. Part 1 dealt with the apostle’s cultural engagement. This part takes up how gender is a matter of missing ribs, it happens in relationship.

A wonderful surprise of this sermon–a special guest appearance from the star, herself, Mary K., with her winning line, “I was a door-mat feminist.”
